Lions travel to HCAC-leading Rose-Hulman

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Lions got off to a competitive start against a very talented Rose-Hulman team.  Krystal Wannemacher (Payne, OH / Wayne Trace) was on fire to start the game, scoring 10 points on 4-5 shooting in the first quarter.  After the first period of play the Lions were locked in a 15-14 battle with the Fighting Engineers.  After Rose-Hulman pulled away a little bit in the second quarter the Engineers pushed their lead to 30-23 heading into halftime.  The second half featured a lot of back and forth play.  The Lions shared the basketball incredibly well down the stretch, as four different players scored in the fourth quarter.  However, the Lion effort was not enough and they eventually fell to Rose-Hulman 54-42.
