How it Happened:

The first quarter started off as a close contest for both teams.  The Lions struggled early on the boards as they were out rebounded by Hanover in the first half 26-13.  The Lions were able to keep the score close going into the second quarter, only down by 6 points with Hanover leading 23-17.  The second quarter the Lions struggled to produce on offense.  Hanover took advantage during the offensive drought for the Lions and opened up their lead going into halftime to 41-27.
