The Mount Men's Soccer Team Picked to Finish 8th in HCAC

The Mount St. Joseph men's soccer team has been slotted to finish 8th in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference by coaches in a pre-season poll.  Last season the Lions finished the season with a record of 5-11-3 which led them to an 8th place finish in the conference with a 2-6-1 record. The Lions are looking to make it further in the season and make a run in conference tournament this season.  

The Lions return 5 seniors, Seth Freppon (Cold Spring, KY / Newport Central Catholic), Austin Masters (Cincinnati, OH / Northwest), Nicholas Willis (Cincinnati, OH / Oak Hills), Alexander Johnston (Eaton, OH / Eaton) and Andrew Phelps (Alexandria, KY / Campbell County). The senior hope to lead the 12 new Lions to a successful season under the command of Rudy Argueta, coming back for his 10th season as the men's soccer head coach.  The Lions are ready to get their season underway at home against Capital University on Friday, August 31st.
