Hanover, Ind. - The Mount St. Joseph men's lacrosse team travelled to Hanover College to take on the Panthers in their second meeting of the season. The Lions were unable to collect another victory as the Panthers took home the matchup with a score of 22-2.
The Mount was only able to score once throughout the first half. Hanover scored 14 goals in the first half. Kevin McClanahan (Madeira,Ohio/Madeira) would have the last word in the half as he would go in unassisted and give the Lions the last word of the half.
During the third quarter the Panthers would gain another six goals on their lead. Collin Matt (Jamestown,Ohio/Greenview) would split the six goals in half with his unassisted goal taking The Lions total to two. In the final quarter of the game The Mount was able to hold Hanover to only two goals. When the final buzzer sounded the final score read 22-2 in favor of the Panthers. Austin Lowery (Indianapolis,Ind./Roncalli) would collect 14 saves while between the pipes.
