ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME NOMINATION FORM
Nominations for induction into the Mount St. Joseph University Athletic Hall of Fame are open all year and can be submitted online or through the U.S. mail. Nominations will be kept for subsequent years and do not need to be resubmitted annually. Each class will be announced six months prior to induction into the AHOF.
To nominate someone, review the following eligibility criteria for candidates and then click on the link to submit a nomination.
CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILTY OF CANDIDATES
All athletes must have graduated from the Mount.
A 10-year period must elapse from the time the athlete completes his/her undergraduate intercollegiate athletic competition before the athlete may be considered a candidate for induction.
A candidate must have earned a minimum of two (2) letters in one varsity sport or one (1) letter in two sports.
The following shall be considered in evaluating a candidate for election to the AHOF. This list should not be considered all-inclusive.
Achievements as a Mount student-athlete
Character exhibited while participating as a Mount student-athlete.
Other contributions to the University while an undergraduate (academic achievement, citizenship, co-curricular participation).
Accomplishments, citizenship and character exhibited after the student-athlete has completed his/her intercollegiate athletic career.
Individuals who do not meet the criteria for election to the Athletic Hall of Fame, but who because of their contributions to the Universities athletic programs are deemed worthy of consideration as a candidate may be considered under a special category for election. Once elected under this special category, these individuals are treated the same way as any other AHOF inductee.
