The Lions spent the weekend going against some tough competition at the Anderson Indoor Invitational.  The Lions had multiple athletes compete and many of them were able to score some points for the team.  Andi Meyer (Ft. Loramie, OH/Ft. Loramie) competed well in the high jump and pole vault, scoring in both events.  She jumped 4'10" in the high jump to finish third and score six points for the Lions. She also cleared 3.05m in the pole vault to finish second and add 8 more points to the Lions score.  The Ladies had a very impressive showing in the 4x200 meter race.  The relay consisted of Solange Cooper (St. Johns, FL/ Bartram Trail), Julia Cason (Cincinnati, OH/ McAuley), Emma Roth (Cincinnati, OH/ Lakota West), and Maria Waters (Cincinnati, OH/ Mercy).  They were able to finish in a time of 1:58:18 which was good enough to score them 6 points.

The Woman's team finished sixth out of the six teams with a final team score of 32.5 points.  The Lions finished closely behind Anderson who scored 42 points in the meet.  The winner of the Anderson Invitational for the Woman's teams was Manchester with a total score of 119.
