Lions Looking Forward to Another Season

Lions Looking Forward to Another Season

The Lions are looking to improve their standing in the conference after last year's conference meet.  Last year's conference meet was hosted by Bluffton at Bluffton University.  Mount St. Joseph Woman's team finished tenth out of the ten teams, while Manchester was able to edge out Rose Hulman for their second straight conference championship.

The team is excited to welcome back high jumper Elizabeth Shumate after a productive season last year.  She was able to clear her best jump at a height of 4'10.5'' at the Hanover Invitational and looks to improve on her personal record this year.

Head Coach Tina Blakley looks to lead her lions this season as they travel to many different races around the area.  The Lions are ready to put in the work and show what they are made off.  These athletes are ready to get started with their indoor season on 1/21 as they travel to the University of Indianapolis.  They are also looking forward to their first outdoor competition which will be held 3/25 at the Transylvania University Invitational.
