DeeDee Davis enters her second season at the Mount in 2015-2016 as an assistant softball coach, where she will assist with recruiting, defense and hitting instruction, and overall player development. Last year Davis was a graduate assistant at Northern Kentucky University, where she also completed her four year playing career.

During Davis’ four years at NKU as a player she played every inning of every game at second base. She also helped lead the Norse to a Division II Midwest Regional Championship in 2012, was named first team all-conference, and was a captain for three years. After the transition to Division I, Davis saw huge strides offensively, leading the team in batting average her junior and senior year, and homeruns with seven her senior year.

Before playing at NKU, Davis was a multiple varsity letter winner at Shelby County High School in Shelbyville, Kentucky. With her team she made three state tournament appearances, was selected First Team All-State, 8th region Player of the Year, and received numerous district and region all-tournament team selections along with being named Athlete of the Month numerous times in softball and basketball. She also played on the Louisville Lady Slugger 18U travel ball team for three summers and won an ASA Gold National Championship in 2010.
