Chisholm and Herdeman represent men's volleyball on the All-MCVL honor roll

CINCINNATI, Ohio-- The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League announced the 2018 All-MCVL teams today. The Mount St. Joseph University men's volleyball team, which finished third in the regular season standings are represented on the All-MCVL teams by two standout seniors, and captains. Senior middle blocker Andrew Chisholm (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills) was honored by the league with a first-team All-MCVL selection. He was joined by Senior setter Nathan Herdeman (Cincinnati, OH/Elder) who finds his name on the second-team. 

Chisholm was the Lions anchor in the middle this season. Andrew was selected as the MCVL player of the week three times this season (2 Offensive, 1 Defensive). Andrew led the Lions with a .377 attack percentage, which was good for third in the conference. He also led the team in total blocks with 82 which ranks atop the MCVL. 

Herdeman and his pink headband have become a staple in the Lions lineup at setter. He has been one of the Mount's consistent players during his four year career. Herdy finished the year with 828 assists which was good for second in the MCVL this season. Nathan will finish his career at The Mount with nearly 2900 assists which is the career record. 

The Mount St. Joseph men's volleyball team travels to North Central to take part in the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League tournament this weekend. They will continue to look to their senior captains for leadership during the tournament.
