Justin Carolin returns for his second season as an assistant coach for the Lions' men's soccer team for the 2015-2016 school year. Carolin hopes his enthusiasm and passion for the game can be a valuable asset to the team. He is strong believer in the principles, goals and aspirations that have been instilled within the program by Mount Head Coach Rudy Argueta.
Carolin played collegiate soccer at Georgetown College from 2005 to 2007. He later transferred to the University of Kentucky, where he finished his career playing club soccer. In 2009, he was named co-head coach and team captain, both positions he maintained until his graduation in 2012.
During the 2011-2012 season, Carolin served as an assistant coach, as well as the junior varsity head coach at Lafayette Senior High School in Lexington, KY. In addition, he has coached several youth clubs throughout the Central Kentucky area over the past several years, including the Bluegrass Soccer Club, Kentucky FC, Boca Juniors.
