Men's Soccer Player earns HCAC award

CINCINNATI, Ohio- Mount St. Joseph University men's soccer player Cody Hacker (Cleves, OH /Harrison) was recognized by the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference with a spot on the Sportsmanship Team. Hacker is a senior at the Mount and played defense during his career. The Lions finished the 2017-18 season with a record of 5-11-3 and 2-6-1 in conference play.

In Hacker's final season at the Mount he was a vital contributor to the Lions defense. He also excelled on the offensive end, scoring two goals and delivering two assists. Hacker always made his presence felt every time he stepped on the field, causing challenges for the opposing team's offense. In his four years with the Lions Hacker scored four goals, assisted on six goals, scoring 14 points.
