The College of Mount St. Joseph upped its 2010-2011 dual wrestling record to 2-3 tonight with a 33-17 victory at Muskingum University. The Lions trailed in the match 17-14 after the sixth match of the dual but won the last four matches to pull out the win.
Seven different wrestlers won their dual match against Muskingum. Leading the way were 149-pounder Joe Conrad (Hamilton, OH/Ross) and 285-pounder Sean Jameson (Cincinnati, OH/Elder), who each won their match by pin. 125-pounder Spencer Tuttle (Columbus, OH/Whetstone), 157-pounder Tommy Fehring (Amelia, OH/Glen Este) and 174-pounder Justin Meineke (Batavia, OH/McNicholas) claimed wins by major decisions.
The Mount will be back in action on Nov. 20 at the University of Mount Union Duals.
